Sofa Brand Group, an established UK manufacturer wanted to develop a new retail brand through which it could sell direct to consumers. The brief, to create a unique shop in shop environment that a new younger consumer would want to engage with. The solution is an open plan space with flexible screened zones that allow intriguing sight lines, ease of flow and innovative display opportunities. At the centre, a browse bar area featuring an immersive touchscreen fabric configurator, inviting swatch library and cushion display to help customers visualise how their style of sofa will look.
Working with Cubiquity Media and Exience on design and IDL Architects on implementation, the new concept was successfully launched into 25 independent retailers.
