Create facilities that will inspire and energise the store team
New Look had identified that team motivation and sales performance could be improved across their stores and that facilities played a big part in this. Working with Exience on strategy and design principles, we were tasked with creating a much improved space for the store team to operate in and to apply these principles to a flagship store in Brighton. Spread across 3 levels, there was a need to create a sense of progression through the space, with a destination in the form of a new break-out space. This area, together with the washrooms, would provide a sense of relaxation and escapism, ensuring that the main retail space and brand narrative were kept distinct and focused.
